Trip - Dial In Long Trolls for Lake Superior Kings and Lakers on August 14, 2026

I had an absolutely fantastic fishing trip with Captain Lorin! He did an incredible job putting us on the fish. We caught our limit in the first hour and ended up catching 15 fish total, including a ton of lake trout. Captain Lauren was knowledgeable, professional, and knew exactly where to find the fish. We had an awesome time and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Highly recommend Captain Lauren to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

Trip - Dial In Long Trolls for Lake Superior Kings and Lakers on July 5, 2026

We had a great day with Captain Lorin. Communication before the trip was excellent. Direct communication began about 3 days before the trip. Location, weather and what to wear. The trip was full day. We caught our limit of lake trout. He did a nice job of finding fish as it was a tough day. Relaxed environment and good conversation. After, I was charged twice. Captain found this and fixed the issue before I knew it happened. Would certainly recommend a charter trip with Captain Lorin.

I have been on a lot of charters on superior and lake Michigan. We went with Captain Lorin on my son in laws and grand kids 1st trip. Our trip was set for Saturday but the weather changed our date to Sunday. We barely had a line in the water and hooked in to our 1st fish. Captain was great with kids . Pa didn’t even catch a fish but it ended up being my best trip to date . I spent 4 hours watching 3 of my favorite people in the world. Have a great experience with captain Lorin . And hope to get out again with him soon . We ended up with 9 lakers 4 coho and 1 king. Grand daughter said we will have to eat fish for weeks. Thanks again Captain we had a great time . Gary

Captain Lorin is an excellent guide. His experience showed right away — he put us on fish immediately, and we reached our limit in under three hours. I highly recommend his service and will definitely book with him again.

We spent a full day on the water with Captain Lorin (Fish of the Gitch), and he was outstanding. His knowledge, experience, and passion for fishing made all the difference on a slow-bite Saturday. We still put double-digit fish in the boat, including Lakers, Coho Salmon, and—my personal highlight—a 28-inch Walleye I’ve been chasing for 30 years. While other groups reported tough conditions and very few fish, we were fortunate to have steady action all day. Thank you, Captain Lorin. It couldn’t have been more enjoyable. I’ve posted a picture of my prized catch and our lunchtime stop—hoping to add a few more soon.

We spent the day fishing with Captain Lorin, and he truly made it one to remember. His expertise, calm approach, and clear love for what he does made all the difference—especially with the bite being slow across the lake on Saturday. Despite the tough conditions, we brought in double digits, including lake trout, coho salmon, and the highlight for me—a surprise 28-inch walleye! I’ve been chasing a big one for three decades, and finally landed it. While others were reporting a tough day with minimal action, we were lucky to be on the right boat with the right guide. Huge thanks to Captain Lorin—this trip was everything I hoped for and more. I’ll try to upload a few more photos later, including my walleye and a midday shot from our lunch break!
